It was a pleasure to photograph my lovely new cousin (three times removed, or something like that). I shot Morgan and Kennon's wedding a few years back, so it made sense to do these portraits of their beautiful newborn as well!

Symphony, 2 weeks old

Our baby girl is almost 2 months old!! Like any proud mother, I want to share lots of photos of her... but I also have a couple thousand already. So I'm trying to keep things concise - I've given up on keeping them up to date - here are some shots from her second week of life:

Symphony at Sunset Magazine's Celebration Weekend

I can't yet post the photos I shot of the fabulous VIP Wine Club Lounge at Sunset's Celebration Weekend, but I am excited to share them when it's possible! In the meantime, here's a picture of the silly babe whose crazy mother brought her along for the adventure (we posted up behind the fried pickle truck to strip off her clothes since it was so hot out). Thanks to our friend/ assistant/ baby cuddler, Jessie, we were able to survive the trek to Menlo Park and back, and the hot hot weather beating down on the crowded festival, and even have some fun.

Symphony seemed to love the event, the people, the smells and sights and sounds - she does NOT love the car seat. But we're working on that.

Flowers for Symphony's birth

Well, our little girl is already 6 weeks old! She is getting big, expressive, and very interested in the world. So we have a lot of play time, and not a lot of hands free for mama time.
I have also returned to shooting so the blog is getting less love than ever, but I have lots to update! Besides client shoots, I have photos from Symphony's one month shoot, and about a million other off the cuff cutie pie images to share... sometime.
I may always be destined to be a month or more behind in the baby-bragging photo department. In any case, here are some lovely flowers our friend Michelle brought to celebrate Symphony's birth.
