Okay, so... maybe these WERE taken 3 or 4 months ago. Or was it 5? Things move quickly when you're on baby time...



(for starters, Symphony is not quite so bald anymore - but still pretty round!)

Anyway, here is my gorgeous gorgeous sister in law, Alyssa, in her ravishing pregnant state! Her baby boy, Dylan, was born in late October - and I will be sharing more photos of my lovely nephew and his cousin Symphony soon (like, forever)!

























People say Symphony looks like Alyssa and I'm so glad - just lookit that pretty lady!

We love getting together with our long-time family friends, the Smiths - and there is no better reason to see them than to check out both daughters' adorable pregnant tummies!!!

The Smiths are different from the Harrises in a lot of ways, one of which is that this shot was taken very haphazardly at 1/5 of a second, which is a long, long time to hold still. I didn't even ask them to stay still, they just naturally are calm. I don't know if anyone in my family is still for that long unless they're napping!

Happy 1/2 year birthday, Symphony!!

My little baby is 6 months old today!!


We have come so far.







She's now sitting, reaching, grabbing, babbling, trying little bits of solids (not into it yet) and giving us the greatest smiles and funny sounds.







We also celebrated her father's 30th birthday this weekend. Boy, does he love his baby girl!





And now we await Symphony's little cousin, to be born any day!!

Pregnancy photos - 30 weeks and 33 weeks (!) and counting...

Whoa, mama!

Yes, that is me. Huge, huge me. The pregnancy is still going very well (I am so lucky and grateful!) but I am not exactly my normal spry self. So far that hasn't stopped me from doing some rad photos shoots, but I do occasionally have to hold myself back from trying to balance on a funky crumbling wall or ledge for the shot... Otherwise, baby is wiggly, mama is feeling good, and everyone continues to grow!

And, okay, I don't normally put up photos of anyone in their skivvies on my blog, but I love this shot. This radish was planted last summer, and has been growing way out of control for months. For awhile the baby and radish were growing at the same rate, but now one is way huger (and also much cuter, I'm hoping):
