Jenny, Mike, and Beatrix, mini portrait session, Berkeley Marina

Here's another family I have been blessed to work with as they've grown. This was my fourth shoot with Jenny and Mike! Last year saw the addition of beautiful baby Beatrix - hard to believe our girls are growing up so quickly!

It was getting COLD outside, baby! Snuggle up to keep warm.

Bea is becoming a walker - holy goodness!

Pretty mama:

Happy and serious baby Bea:

Jennifer, Scott and Star, mini portrait session, Berkeley Marina

Jennifer and Scott are former wedding clients, who have a not-so-new baby (almost Symphony's age!), beautiful, sweet Star. They call her their Buddha baby because she is so mellow, watchful and sweet. I wanted to pinch her cheeks but instead I let her parents cuddle and kiss her for the shoot.

I always make sure to get a mama and baby shot because we sometimes get overlooked, and the relationship is so special at this age.

I love the way Scott looks at his girls!

Thanks, Jennifer and Scott! I hope our girls get a playdate soon.

Anita, Derek, Paloma and Sabrina, mini portrait session, Berkeley Marina

One of the best things about my job is that I get to see clients as they marry, start families, and grow... Anita and Derek hired me to do engagement photos way back in 2005 (I think?), and then family portraits with their then-toddler Paloma, and again to include beautiful 2nd daughter Sabrina. Such a gorgeous, sweet family!

Paloma has personality bursting at the seams:

Sabrina was sleepy but very sweet:

Nothing like an eager older sister to help you smile!

Dancing and singing helps loosen the parents up!

And at some point the Berkeley Marina "mist" just turned into plain old rain... so we hid under some trees (cute umbrellas notwithstanding):

Aaah, everyone in this family is so cute! What a joyous bunch. Thanks guys!
