Melissa and Brett, Healdsburg Country Gardens - Part 2

(Click on the photo above for the slideshow!)

This is part two from yesterday's beautiful featured wedding. Today's photos are of the reception, and more details!

It's a sure sign that your family is fond of you, when they make homemade jam favors for your wedding:

And homebrewed beer for refreshments (along with silhouettes of the bride, groom, and daughter):

Melissa and Brett bought a vintage photo booth for their wedding, and I think that it sums up their sensibility and humor well. Hopefully they will start renting it out for weddings and other events - I'll keep you posted once they get that going!

They had lots of props and costumes just for that - everyone loves a good mustache on a stick!

The venue was bursting with its own lovely gardens and flowers, and the florals that were brought in were kept simple and beautiful:

Great suit, bowtie, homebrewed beer, and boutonniere!

More details from dinner. I thought that taking these vintage windows and painting the with chalkboard paint for the menu at each dinner station was such a cool idea. And those could be fun to just have around the house, too.

There was a kids' area and some really fun activities for both kids and grown ups:

My agua fresca! I think it was strawberry and lavender, yummmmm:

More reception shots:

I loved this idea - beautiful light blue bottles filled with photos of family members. This is another idea that I think would be cool just to have in my house.

The wedding cake:

And a bride's cake (Melissa loves to garden):

... being rescued by a groom's cake (Brett's a volunteer fireman):

Stunning view and venue:

Melissa and Brett, thanks again for having such a very cool wedding, and have me be a part of it! I can't wait to see what you guys create together next!
