Mo and Kent, Orfila Vineyards, Escondido, California

(Click on the image above for the slideshow)

Mo and Kent were my gorgeous Engagement Session Giveaway winners in 2009, and they booked me something like 18 months in advance of their wedding, so it was a big big deal for all of us when it finally rolled around this July! Not to mention that Devon and Symphony accompanied me to San Diego for the trip. I have to confess, we pretty much stayed in the hotel room, enjoying the luxurious bed and room service, when I wasn't working. Someday I will enjoy the SD area properly...

Luckily I got to see some sights on my first trip to the area thanks to their beautiful venue, Orfila Vineyards and Winery, and my wonderful second shooter, Sheri of Tangerine Tree Photography, who I am excited to know now as a colleague and a friend.

Now, on to the photos!

Loved, LOVED Mo's dress!

I'd say the wedding venue was a pretty nice introduction to the San Diego area for me... lovely.

Mo and Kent (ok, mostly Mo) put a lot of work and thought into their wedding... creative details, DIY touches, delicious food, and so on. You can read about the planning, the events, and the recap on Mo's blog at www.pinkargyle.blogspot.com/, and on Elizabeth Anne Designs' blog.

First look:

I love that Kent cried, and that Sheri got this beautiful shot!

Details:

Ceremony!

Lovely couple:

Sprinkles (of course), and they were AMAZING. Mo doesn't know this, but here's my confession: I had two. TWO peanut butter chocolate cupcakes, some of the best cake I've ever eaten (which is no small thing - I've eaten my share of cakes!). Mo, I owe you cupcakes, and I'm happy to provide some next time you're in the Bay Area...

Here are some additional vendors:

Crown Point Catering
Flowers: Rae Florae
DJ: InJoy Entertainment

What a pleasure it's been to get to know and work with Mo and Kent... there are many, many more photos and details, but I'm going to let Mo share them on her blogs, so, take it away Mo... and thanks again!
