Decisions, Flowers and Cupcakes!

Okay, folks, I am off to Santa Cruz for the weekend to visit family, but I thought I'd leave you with a few random pretty flower and yummy cupcake pictures. Take a few deep breaths, relax. It's the weekend and I don't have to work! :)

I also wanted help making a decision. I need to have a portfolio case made and I'm stuck between two fabrics,

this one:

and

this one:

Which is your favorite? Leave me a comment below, and I'll be forever grateful... and you'll win a prize! :)

If you're wondering which will work best with my portfolio's colors and style, the answer is, both of them - the logo is blue and orange, so the first fabric kind of complements the theme of the book while the second is a more direct kind of match.

And if you're just itching to see what my soon-to-be-unleashed editorial/ lifestyle branding looks like, here is your sneak peek! I am SO not good at waiting on these things!

Finally, here's the link back to the slideshow version of the portfolio itself, which is printed, gorgeous, and ready to go.

Have a fabulous weekend!

You should get both. Use one in the blue one in the spring/summer and the flowery one in the fall.

Yeah the patterns themselves seem like the opposite... but ehh, i'm going with the colors.

I like both, but I LUV the blue!
It feels more subtle - a quiet kind of gorgeous - like YOU!

p.s. thanks for sharing cupcake pix. now i'm hungry...

The blue is calming and timeless.

Love them both, but I think you're more blue.

All I can say is WOW! Your new website is awesome... so austere and cheerful at the same time. I LOVE it, and LOVE the blue/orange branding. Congrats!

As for portfolio case, I think I would go with blue... just because the bolder print is a bit more trendy and you may get tired of it sooner. I love both of them though...
